A Young Girl's Life for a Time Made Miserable —Could Not Use Her Hands and found it Difficult to Walk—Health Restored. From the Napanee Express, Nervousness is the frequent cause of inuch misery and suffering. One of the effects of this breaking up of the nerves, particularly among young peo- ple, being cher ea or St, Vitus dance. A correspondent tells of a young lady at Selby who was badly afflicted with this trouble. He says :—"I never saw anyone suffering so badly before from nervous disorder. She was violently jerking and twitching all the time, and could not use her right band at all. Anything she would try to pick up with it would instanly fall When she would attempt to walk, her limbs would twist and turn, the ankle often doubling down and throwing her, Lately I heard that she had been cured but doubted the truth of the statement and went out to see her. The state - anent proved quite true, and believing that a recital of the facts of the case would be of .advantage to some one who might he similarly suffering, I asked permission to make thein known, which was readily granted, The young lady is Miss II. M. Gonyou, a general favorite among her acquaint- ances, and it is thought that her trouble, as is not infrequently the case, was brought on by hard study in school." Miss Gonyou gave the follow- ing statement :—'°All through the fall of 1891 I had been feeling unwell, I did not speak to anyone about it, for I was going to school and was afraid if i said anything about it to my parents they would keep ane at, home. 1 kept getting worse, and at last grew so nervous that I could not hold my pen - cil My right side was affected most, tr though the trouble seemed to go through my whole system. In Janu- ary I was so bad that I had to dis- continue going to school, and I was constantly growing worse. 1 could not use my hands, because I would let everything drop, and fre- quently when I attempted to walk, I would fall. My brother had been ail- ing for a Long time and was then using Dr. Williams' Pink Pills and getting better, so I thought as they were help- ing him so much they would be a good medicine for me. Before the first; box was done T was feeling much better, after using the: Fink Pills for about at month, my health was fully restored. It is now more than a year since I discontinued the use of the pills, and I have not had the slightest trace of the malady since. I 51111 satis- fied Dr. Williams' Pink Pills saved me from a life of misery, and I would strongly recommend them for nervous troubles. I)r. Williams' Pink Pills create new blood, build up the nerves, and thus chive disease from the system. In hundreds of cases they have cured after all other medicines had failed, thus establishing the claim that they are 0 marvel among the triumphs of modern medical science. The genuine Pink Pills are sold only in boxes bear- ing the full trade mark, "Dr.'\Villiams' Pink Pills for Pale people." Protect yourself from imposition by refusing any pill that does not bear the regis- tered trade mark around the box. OSHAWA. AN INTERESTING ITEM. The following history was related to our reporter by Mrs. Jas. McCaw,wife of the well-known shoemaker of Osha- wa, Ont. This is whatMrs.Me0aw says: "I was tronbled seriously for a long long time with my heart and nerves, and had a very severe attack of la grippe, which left me much worse in every way. At times the palpitation of my heart was so bad that I feared death. My heart seemed to go right up into my throat, and caused a feel- ing of suffocation most painful to en- dure. Then at other times there was a great fluttering of the heart follow- ed by a sinking feeling, dizziness, etc. "I was feeling extremely miserable when .1 got a box of. Milburn's Heart and Nerve Pills from Mr. T. G. Hy- ley'sdrug store, and commenced taking them. From the first few doses I im- proved rapidly, and am now much bet- ter than I have been for a long tittle. My appetite is good,E. and I aur wonder- fully improved in every way. I can recommend these pills very highly, as I feel that no other remedy could have performed such a marvelous change in so short a time and it gives, me pleasure to let others know that there is a remedy easily obtained which will cure them, and that very quickly, (Signed) Mrs. Jas. The glorious results of this season's harvest of golden grain will pony a stream of sound money into the pocket of every Dakota farmer. South Dakota has thousands of acres of choice farming and ranch land lying east of the Missouri river, and within one day's ride from Chicago or Mil- waukee which can now be bought reasonably cheap, but which before the end of another year may be advanced in price. The stock -raising industry in South Dakota is profitable, and Eastern capi- tal is now being invested in cattle and sheep growing in that state. Diversified fanning, the growing of live stock, and the products of the dairy, are placing South Dakota, fore- most in the ranks of the successful Western states.
