Owing to large offerings of Canadian
and American cattle in Glasgow
yesterday (Wednesday), the market
was thrown into a panicky conditi on
and prices rapidly•declined ld per lb.,
from 5(!d to 41d, showing losses of
$18 to $24 per head, and if the 800

mean a loss of about $15,000, The

MANY WOMEN DECEIVED,
At the present time many manu-
facturers of crude and adulterated
package dyes are making lively efforts
to induce the wholesale and retail
druggists and grocers to buy their
dyes.
Those common dyes aro quoted at
such low prices that some profit -
loving dealers are tempted to buy
them. The profit -loving dealers then
take care to sell these adulterated
dyes to the inexperienced and careless
at the same price as the popular Dia-
mond Dyes are sold for.
The iniquitous and deceptive. work
has caused a vast amount of loss and
trouble to many in Canada, and will
continue as long as women are foolish
enough to take anything that is
offered them.
If home dying work is to he success-
ful and money -saving work, every
woman should see that she gets the
Diamond Dyes, as they are the only
guaranteed package dyes in the
world.

GENTLEMEN. -O hardly know how
best to express my appreciation of
your valuable rheumatic remedy,
Phrenoline. My son Gordon, who is
0 years old, has been a sufferer from
inflammatory rheumatism for the past
two years ; was so bad at times that 11
he had to be carried about on a
mattress ; was attended by two city
doctors without the sli hest benefit,
spent ten days at Caledonia Springs
came home with no marked
improvement ; took three bodes of a
Homeopathic remedy nowbeing exten-
sively advertised, which did not re-
lieve hint in the least. I was beginning
to give up all hope of his recovery,
when by chance I mentioned the. case
to my friend who strongly advised me
to give Plirenoline a trial.
I did so, with the re8ult Bial, when
my boy had taken only half a bottle
he was able to get onto his bicycle and
ride like any other boy around
the block.
I certainly feel that I cannot say too

shall do till 1 can to make known its
value to others. Yours very sincerely

Good News From South Dakota.
The glorious results of this season's

Grief and Worry.
C'at sai HEART TROt'BLES
A well and favorably known
lady of .Mitchell, gives an account of
her sufferings:
"Grief at the death of near and
dear relatives a few years ago caused
nervous trouble and general debility.
Prior to that time I was: in excellent
health, quite stoutand very strong.
With my sad bereavements I became
excessively nervous ID appetite
failed. I lost flesh and strength, and
my hind and nerves were in such a
state that I found it almost impossible
to compose myself to sleep. When I
did drop .into slumber I would wake
up in a short time trembling violently
and in a cold perspiration, tend could
not get to sleep again that night. My
memory became clouded and fickle. I
had gre it pain through my temples,
and my heart frequently seemed to
stop its pulsations, Then again I ;,had
fainting spells so that my friends
thought I was a hypochondriac. For-
tunately I procured a box ofMillmrn's
Heart and Nerve Pills from Mr. S. A.
Hodge, the well-known druggist of
this place, and commenced taking
them last spring. To my gratitude
they performed a complete cure. My
appetite is now good. I have gained
in flesh, health and strength, and feel
cheerful and happy. I sleep well, and
have now no trouble with my heart
or nerves whatever. These pills are
a great cure for heart and nerve
troubles as well as a splendid tonic
for the entire system, and I am very
glad to recommend them to all suf-
ferers from similiarcomplaints(Signed)
