OLD TODMORDENI
HAPPY HAPPENINGS IN THE HISTORIC
HAMLET.
Mr. John Gamble, jr., the well-
known andpopular son of Sohn Gam-
ble, Esq., proprietor of the Todmorden
Hotel during the past four years, gives
the following account of his rescue
from heart and nerve trouble through
the use of Milburn's Heart and Nerve
Pills. Speaking to our reporter, Mr.
Gamble said : "Some three months
ago I began to feel very poorly ; in
fact as 11 1 was moving around in a
dream. This condition I wrongly at-
tributed to biliousness, for I became
very weak and seemed to have no
staying power. I also became very
nervous, and would jump or start at
the slightest sound. The feeling was
one of constant dread. I expected
something dreadful to happen, I knew
not what. Again I was dizzy, my me-
mory failed me very often, and as a
natter of fact my whole system was
out of order.
Our druggist, Mr. H. W. Love, cor-
ner Broadview and Danforth avenues,
recommended Milburn's Heart and
Nerve Pills some three weeks ago, and
I have taken thele according to dir-
ections. From the very first I began
to improve, and am now surprised at
the change in my condition. I am
very much stronger ; my nerves are
steady, and nay memory bright. I no
longer suffer with that morbid feeling
of dread. The pills have proved cer-
tainly, in my case, a remarkable re-
medy for weak nerves and reduced
physical strength. I cannot too highly
recommend diem to all who suffer
from any or all the symptosis which I
have mentioned to you, and must re-
turn my thanks to the manufacturers
of these pills for placing such an ex-
cellent inedicine before the public."

follows
"I do not hesitate to speak of Dodd's

why not Say so ?"
"It is true I had been snifering for

Mr. Francis Somerville, one of the best

the rivers and lakes of Ontario, having
been engaged in this business for fifty
years, and who resides at No. r95 Upper.
Colborne Street, Kingston, speaks as
follows of his recovery from the sickness
which has affected him for some time.
Said Mr. Somerville: "The grip left
me with kidney troubles and gravel. I
had severe pain over the kidneys and in
the small of my back, also between the
shoulders and in the bladder.
"The urine was very dark-coloredwith
a great deal of muddy sediment. I went
to Mr. McLeod's drug store and bought
two boxes of Doan's Kidney Pills. I have
taken them with what people tell me is
the usual good result.
"They have cleared the urine, removed
the sediment, relieved me of distressing
pain in the back and between the should-

manner. In fact, I am ;entirely free from
the troubles which affected .me before
taking these remarkable pills, and .I
recommci..1 them as a certain cure for all
troubles arising from kidney disorders."
