Agricultural Society was held on
Wednesday of last week. The Sea-
Treae. report was read which showed
the society to be in a sound condition
financially. After paying all expenses

that her sister was very low and to

the end. as she died at 12 o'clock Wed-

; old and leaves her bereaved husband
with One child, to mourn their loss, as
well as her bereaved parents, brothers
land sisters.

This is pretty good, considering there
are only 50 acres.
BRIEES.-MiSS Lizzie Downie is quite
ill. -Mrs. Strawby, sister of Win.
Byrne, and Mrs. P. Woods, died in
Manitoba, and her remains . were
brought to Irish -town cemetery for
son of Bernard O'Connell, died on
Saturday last after a long illness. Mr.
Keefe has rented the farm owned

his residence there. -Six burials took
place hi, Irishtown dining the course
of last week. -Once more the /angel
of death cast his sad wing over our
village, bringing in his wake grief to
the borne of Mr. Connell. Thursday
morning last little Lizzie, the young-
est child, breathed her last; at the
tender age of thirteen years. The child
had been ill for only two weeks.
