The Propects For Wool.
Some new clip Ontario wool has been
received here frora the farmers. It was is
lot of only a few bales of fleece, and was
sold to a local house at 17o. Several lots
of unwathed were also received and gold
at 1.1c to 12c. There seems to be an
impreesion that the prices for the new
crop will be higher, but it is difficult to say
on what this impression is based. In
England good servicable wool can now be
bought by the inanufaoturers at 93 to 103,
and, according to the views of the American
Cotton and Wool Rept rters of May 9, the
prospects for the orop are not indibative
of higher prices, That paper says that
for the &at time in two years the Can-
adian wool market is cleared up of stooks.
last year they went to the growers with
two years' supplies on hand ; the opening
of tho Amerioan market made a large de
• wand for this claes of wool, and the
Canadian buyers are reported as paying

groweis. The recent prices a,t which this
class of wool has been sold in the Phila-
delphia market are no criterion to go by,
beoause the market was for a time lightly
stocked with this guide. When larger
supplies arrive lower prices nauet of
vecessity follow, and 23o per pound for
Canadian oc.rabing will be a thing of the
vast, notwithstanding representations to
the contrary. Foz pulled woe& the
mallet is quiet, as is usual just before the
Off ering of new wool. and the home
snanufacturers are not buying more than
enough to satisfy present wants, as in a
abort time they will have lots offered to
them by the farmers. Prioes are un-
changed; supers 20e to 21o, and 22c to 230

The most miserable mortals in our

The digeetive organs are all out of gear,
and the sufferer is toraaented every hour

or weight ia the pit of tha stomacm,
almost continual heedache, want of
j appetite, palpitation of the heart, sluggish
and topid bowels and constipation
The ooramon cathartics and medicines
of the day only aggravate the sufferer's
troubles, and clause him to sink deeper in
the mire of suffering and despondency.
Nature's wondrous remedy, Paine's
Celery Compound, is the only medicine

suffered greatly from indigestion and
palpitation of the heart. It was perfect
misery for me to go up stairs or up a
/hill, as my breath was so bhort and weak ;
and eating a meal was something I dread,
ed, me I suffered suoh agony afterwards.
I could only get a temporary relief from
doctor's medicines and ten/lethal]. Last
summer my heart troubled me so frequent-
ly, that I became weak and miserable -
so miserable that I felt life a burden: I
had heard a great deal of Celery Com-
pound but had no idea it would Dena t me
in any way. At last I was persuaded to
try it, and by tho time the first bottle tva4
used I was greatly benefited, 0 have '
used five bottles of the Compound, and
say trth truth, that no other medicine
has ever giien me such wonderful resulte.
The palpitation of the heart has not
troubled me for some months; I ago now
eat a heal ty meal, and do not experience
any pain atter wards.
"Paine's Celery Compound cannot be
