British Grain Trade.
LONDON, March 11.—Tho Mark Lane Express
in its weekly review of the British grain trade,
says: English wheats have advanoed 5d. Fore-
ign wheats have been firm, Oregon fetohine 25s
and California 24s, Corn has rallied 6d, mixed
A merioan selling at 20s 6d. Barley and oats
are held for an advance Today values have
been supported. English wheats are slow. In
foreign wheats California is quiet, The
demand for American winter and spring flour
has held, American flours generally have
advanced 3d and oats 6d. Corn is held for 3d
advance: Barleys are firm. Cotton seed is in
buyers' favor.
Buffalo Barley Market.
Borveno,N. Y.,Mareh11.—The visible supply
of barley decreased 200,000 bu during the week.
stooks in sight being 1,217,000 bu, as compared
with 852,000 at the corresponding date last
year' Tho decrease in Buffalo stocks was 78.-
000 bu, and the quantity in eight here (store) is
now but slightly 111 excess of 500,000 bu, most
of which is held on consumers account, leaving
the quantity of free parley very limited.
Market is quiet with demand only for Canada
barley, and on the figuring between buyers and
sellers there is a discrepancy of about le in
their views. Quoted; No 1 Canada, 650; No 2 do
63} o; No 3 extra, 60 to 610. No offerings of
State, and western grades are purely nominal.
The Egg Market Glutted.

ket has still furthur declined andshipments of

loss. New York is, glutted: eastern points
