Serious Collision.
While the Grand Tlunk train from
,Stratford was on the say to Toronto
Friday, a train following behind crashed
Into the rear car -a Pullman --which was

was about a mile east of Weston The

ceived serious injuries. Mr Morgan had

Reoeipts, 336 through, 115 on sate: market
steady to firm for good grades: shade easier for
cows and common stock; but few buyers here
owing to late storm and blocked roads: ship-
ments very light. which had a bad effect on
all branches of the trade and restrains trading;
few sales. Extra 1,300lbs eteersat 8485: fair
to good mixed butchers' grades at 5315 to
53 90:tat cows. $2 65 to 5380; fresh cows steady
526 to 532 per head.
Hogs -Receipts, 161 oars through, 10J on sale:
market at a standstill outside a few local deals.
Good to light hogs 140 to 1601be, sold at $4 60
to 5470; heavy -weight Yorkers, $4 30 to:5460:
good mediums, $4 35 to $4 50.
Sheep and Lambs -Receipts, 7 oars through,
230 on sale: market slow and but little doing
owing to lack of shinning faoilities, but all
held firm. Few best lambs sold at 5s 75 to 56:
fair to good, $4 75 to 55 65; good to choice
mixed $4 t o 84 50 : fair to good, $3 60 to 83 90,
Tho total offerings were 112 cars. Market
closed firm with a good many unsold. Prime
