Mr. Robert Hagyard, of London West,
was struck by the G. T. R. Lehigh express.
on Friday morning at Hyde park crossing,
tossed forty feet with his horses and cut-
ter, and instantly killed. The horse was
also killed and the cutter smashed to
splinters. ,
The latest steamer arriving at San Fran-
cisco from the Hawaiian islands bring
news of a revolution ,and bloodshed at
Honolulu. Charles L, Carter, who was
one of the annexation commissioners, is
among the killed. Robert Wilcox is the
the of rebels.
William Schwartz, a student in the
dairy school of the Guelph Agricultural
College, Las been attacked with smallpox,
and he, with a number of otherstudents
with whom he associated, has been guar•
