The St. Mary's Grade Eight class took their parents back to
the„late I -800's to a school room scene in their Christmas
cohtert production "An Old Fashioned Christmas”. Here

Bedour, Dave Gower, Andy DeWinter, Linda Gleason, Jeff
Denomme and Roland Lassaline in a round 'of Christmas

Haefle attended the Christ-
mas meeting of the
Kingsbridge Catholic
Womens' League held in the
parish hall.
Mrs. Frayne presided and
Fr, Haefle led in prayer. All
were welcomed by the
president.
Loretta Doherty volun-
teered to help phone for
leaders of the Rosary until
next April.- A collection for
flowers for the church will be
taken up after each- Mass.
Correspondence included
thank yous from Lia Christie,
The Culletons- and Anne and
-Terry Dolton. Christmas card
from the Rev,A.j. Kandathel
of Save A Family Plan, and a
letter from the Blue Army.
Mrs. Champagne presented
Mrs. Terry Dalton with a gift
membership and welcomed
her to the League.
Haefle gave his
Christmas message, and
urged all to be grateful for the
wonderful gift of Jesus Christ
on Christmas Day. He said
the most perfect gat to give to
I-imon Christmas Day is the
gift of.ourselves, to give him a
chance to give Himself to us.
Mrs. Courtney gave the
Pro -Life report and in-
troducenhe new president of
Goderich Pro -Life, Mrs.
Mark Dalton. The last
'meeting was held in Goderich
with Bruce Heath as guest

The Pro -Life float Hanzel
and Gretel" 'entered in
Goderich parade won third
prize. It was also entered in
Lucknow parade.
Mrs. ,Reis - Miltenburg
reported on the Guides and
showed the many crafts they
have made. „
The CWL will entertain and
visit the residents of
Pinecrest Manor of Lucknow
on Wednesday afternoon,
January 28.
St. Joseph's School is
holding a reunion of .the grads
for the last ten years. This
will be held in the middle of
June.
Mrs. John Howard, Mrs.
John Austin and Mrs. Walter
Clare prepared the brief on
"Violence in the Media" and
attended the meeting in
W'ingham to present the brief
and hear the other ones. Mrs.
John Aubtin read the brief at
the meeting.
There were severi'' briefs
presented and an interssting
discussion period followed. Iv.
addition to these ladies, Mrs.
Eugene Frayne, Mr. and Mrs.
Mark Dalton and Mrs. Joe
Courtney attended.
Mrs. Austin motioned that
the brief and lt:report of the
meeting be sent to the,
Diocesan Office, to ask them
to stress this involvement‘,and
encourage other CWL's.
Mrs, Martin wrote a letter
to CKNX TV re Church Today
to ask them to keep it on the
air and inform the public of
the correct, time of the
program. A letter was sent to
Catholic Hospital Association
re booklet on 'Catholic
Hospitals. -
Mrs. Mike° Dakon, Mrs.
Bernadjne Kinney and Mrs.
John Austin- volunteered to
buy and deliver gifts to sick
and shut in of the parish.
The guild will be discussed
