Turkheim, who was vice- chhairman' for the past year, defeated the present chair- man, Wilfred Shortreed in a two-way vote at a special meeting of the board in Clinton on Monday night. The•rr'ew vice-chairman will be Charles Thomas, who represents the village of Brussels and the townships -of Morris and Grey, the same area as Shortreed.
