In a regularly scheduled
game last Thursday evening,
Glenmark Homes , and
Candlelight Tavern ended up
in a scoreless game as the
highlight was both goalten
ders .coming through with
shutouts.
Randy Gaynor, who was in
the nets for Candlelight
Tavern and Casey ' Van,
de.nHeuvel for Glenmark
Homes, both came through
with excellent goaltending,
dnd stopped several shots on
breakaways.
Friday's game it was
•
Candlelight 5 and Mclntee
Real Estate 2 as nrent Fisher
was the star of the game with
three goals and an assist.
Mclntee opened the scoring
at the 7:41 mark of the first
period on a goal by Ray
Vanstone, •unassisted, but
Candlelight Tavern got the
equalizer as Darrin Moore set
up Brent Fishers first goal.
Candlelight picked up three
more goals in the middle
period as Frazer Abbot got
one unassisted, Mike Worsell
scored from Brent ` Fisher,
and then.Brent got his second
goal as he was put in the clear
on a pass from defenceman

Final period - Ray Van -
stone picked up his second,
goal for Mclntee Real Estate
as Jamie Renolds started th,e
play. Then with only 3:50 left
in the game, Brent Fisher
picked 'up his hat trick on a
breakaway goal.
In a regularly scheduled
game on December 14th,
Mclntee Rear Estate and
Glenmark Humes played to a
3-3 tie. Fii•e of these goals
were scored -in the first poriod
as. Ray Vanstone opened the
scoring from Paul Murphy
for Mclntee. Andrew Telford
tied the game unassisted.
Then 40 ,seconds later Brad
Smith gave Mclntee the lead,
as Paul Murphy picked up his
second a.s4ist.
Glenmark Homes came
right" back with Andrew
Telford's second goal ,and
Casey VandetnHeuvel, the
goaltender, picked up the
assist. • Before the period
ended, Jeff Feagan made it 3-
2 for Mclntee Real 'Estate,
Ray Vanstone assisting.

Thursday, when they
defeated Mitchell, 56-29.

halftime, and were seldom
.pressed by the Mitchell
squad,
lain Lambert led the Viking
point parade with 16 points.
Greg "Stork" Beacom hit for
14 and Bill Gau :y had 10
points for the Vikings. Jeff

pressed approval with the

shooting displayed by his
Vikings, but cautioned that
the Vikings have yet to come
up against the big powers in
the Conference. Coach
Bugler feels the Stratford
Northwestern Huskie
Tournament in, which the
Vikings are competing
tomorrow' (Friday) will
provide a better test for his
Vikings.
