Twins extendwin streak

Kentucky Fried Chicken
won all three games last week
by big scores as they defeated
Kincardine, Port Elgin and
Walkerton,
On Tuesday, Decer>;rber 2nd
game played in Kincardine,
Bill Lewis led the attack with
four goals as the Twins won 8-
6. Two first period goals by
Bill Lewis and, a single by
Paul Helesic gave the 3-1 lead
as Kincardine's goal /was
'scored with only 1:56 left in
the first period. Paul
ichaefer assisted on two of
these.•goals and picking up the
other assists were Leroy
Meriam and Dale Duncan.
Second period, • Mike
Lapaine combined with Dale
Duncan to start -the period,
then Goderich picked up five •
minor penalties and Kin-
cardine scored three goals to
make it 4-4 by the end of the,
second period. '
In the final period,the
Twins settled down to playing
.-hockey and went ahead on
Ben Worsell's goal as Don
Kirkconnell set him up at the,
12:59 mark. Bill LeWis picked
up his • third goal from Ben
Worsell and Paul Schaefer.
Pete Crew made it 7-4 as he
knocked' in Paul Dougherty's
rebound. ` Leroy Meriam
assisted. Kincardine came
back with two. ,quick. goals to
narrow, the margin to one
goal, but in an attempt to tie
the game, pulled their
goaltender ,and Bill Lewis
scored his fourth goal into•the
empty net to make the final
''score 8-6.
On Thursday, December
4th, the Twins got revenge as
they bombed Port Elgin 9-1. It
was a team,,'effort as they
outskated, -. outplayed and
outscored Port Elgin in one of
their best ga.rnes to date.
Goderich didn't open the
scoring until the 10:55 mark
of the first period, Ed
Courtney from bale Duncan.
Ben Worsell made it 2-0
before the period ended. Port

Twins were not to be denied
as they remembered how
penalties hurt them up in
Walkerton, and, they skated to
a 6-1 victory.
Tim McLean, who is just
getting back into shape after
missing several games, l'ed
the way with three goals and
an assist. First period, Tim
'McLean and Steve Chase
scored for the Midgets,
picking up assists were Ben
Worsell and Paul Helesic.

In an exhibition ' 'game
played at the Gardens in
London on Sunday, the
°Goderich Lions Pee Wee won
7-6 scoring the winning goal
with only 17 seconds

Both teams scored a pair of
goals in the first period. Joey
