The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as read by the seeretary, Charles Kerr. The treasurer, Gordon ... Da,er gave the financial statement showing $198 in the treasury. Charles Kerr reported on ., the meetings he attended of the Bruce Regional Snowmobile Association and the _Colborn Snowmobile Club. Allan Craig reported on the meeting he had attended of the East Wawanosh Snowmobile Club. t was learned that Carl wden, Bombardier's Snowplan representative and Dan Mansall of. the Depar- tment of Natural Resources will be ,at the Wingham Snowmobile Club meeting to be held December 4 at the Wingham. Town Hall. Phis should be a very interesting meeting. As Allan Craig had stepped down from being president to trail .supervisor, Bill Robertson was . elected president..Ihe club members talked about having a rally to raise money for a charitable organization which would include, trails of the neigh- bouring snowmobiles clubs. Mrs. James Schneider suggested a Christmas party fo'r the children to be held at the Club House.on December 21 and the Club Members accepted this plan. Plans were made to hold the, next meeting in conjunction with the Christmas party, 'Constable John Wray of the Go-aerich OPP was present at this meeting. and showed entertaining' animated film ' on snowmobile, safety which had been put out by John Deere Company. A question and answer period followed. 11 SOCIAL NEWS Shuffle board got off toa start last Thursday evening with 19 children present under the guidance of Mrs. Robert Slater, James Towe and Frank -Van Dongen. President Mrs. Gerald McDowell presided and Mrs. Norman„Wightman was pianist. Mrs. McDowell opened the meeting by reading a poem. l'he scripture selection was read by Mrs. McDowell. The offering was, received by Mrs. Peter Verbeek and dedicated. An interesting skit, •depictin g the responsibilitie4 ' of the C1.C.W, officers was presented by a numPer of the; ladies. ' The minutes of the previous general meeting were ready by the secretary, Mrs. Beth Lansing. The financial statement was. given by Mrs-. This report was accepted arid the Officers will be installed at the January meeting. Names were drawn for the two newa"units for 1976. It was decided” to have the Christ- mas . mee'ting on 41, Tuesday, December 9 with -a pot -luck dinner "at 12 o'clock in the Sunday school room followed by a Christmas program. The meeting °adjourned, after which a , lainty lunch' and cup of tea was enjoyed by all.
