Last week, UAW in- ternational representative Bob Nickerson of London announced the workers will share in $100,000, which has been paid into the Ontario labor ministry following a bankruptcy action brought by the UAW. Mr. Nickerson said the money was deposited with the ministry late last week. The settlement means each of the employees will receive what amounts to severance pay of between $200 and $300, depending on length of ser- vice, amount of notice .they were given and what they were making at the time of the a shutdown. When the cheques will be issued is not known, Mr. Nickerson said.
