Santa's Court keeps old gent hopping
About 0O children in' the
Goderich area went to 'court
Saturday afternoon and left
smiling, confident that th'eir
request for a December 25
delivery of toys, dtills and
baseball gloves would be
handled efficiently.

held in the Park Theatre after
Santa swept into Goderich
behind a colorful parade on
The Square Saturday af-
terrioon. The jolly old gent
guided his tiny sleigh around
The Square twice before
calling his court to order and
interviewing his youthful,
• followers.
Santa was in excellent form
• for his afternoon session and
on more than one occasion he
turned on his. gentle manner
and soft voice to ease' the
minds of frightened children
who weren't sure what lay
behind the fat. belly .and,,
mounds of white whiskers. .
He promised—faithfully to
• deliver toys, bicycles, dolls,
skates, tOboggans and
basebakl bats to the Goderich growing.- he added

Santa" brought several of his
helper's with hall to court .to
give the children bags of
candy, candy .canes and
apples. The helpers reported
to him that they had given out
more .than 900 candy bags to

had• not bothered to see Santa

ser him a Christmas list via
