Recreation By AUDREY MIDDLETON
Of two thodsand Goderich
township .residents, -only
three volunteered as leaders
in the winter sports program
for the township.
. At the recreation meeting
held Wednesday, • November
26, the Goderich township
recreation, council really
didn't expect an avalanche of
volunteers responding to the
newspaper ad request, but
had lioped' for, maybe a few
more,
We are therefore grateful.
for one leader each in the
fallowing three sports, boys'
hockey, volleyball for grade
nine and up, and cross
country skiing.
It is easy to realize that it
would not be fair to these'
leaders- to handle their jobs
alone. Please, are there any
oth'ers' who' will give us a
hand? You don't have to be an,
expert, just an interested
helper.
If there is further, response,
regitration will follow im-
mediately.
Attending the recreation
meeting was John West-
brook , '-chairman.; Hazel
McCreath, Hugh Lobb .and
