Imperial Oil will provide a new pump to replace the two existing pumps. The pump will supply 100-130, and 80-87 fuel from the two existing 2,000 and 3,000 gallon tanks. It is,, ex- pected that Imperial Oil's investment in the cabinet will be amortized through, fuel -consumption. ..Imperial Oil represen- tative, Mr. Linger, examined the tanks at Sky Harbor and found them suitable for usage with the new dual pump. He expressed some concern over the condition of the tanks since condensation and rusting will occur if the tanks are not used for two or three years. The cost of a new 5,000 gallon tank plus installation would have meant an ad- ditional expenditure of $4,000. • The new tank will supply turbo fuel used by ntQ:re sizeable aircraft such as 'a lear jet and Mr. Linger said that assistance from Imperial Oil would . be based' on the volume of fuel used. He said he would, contact potential users of the fuel at Sky Harbor such as Ontario Hydro, the Ontario Provincial Police and Dominion Roads Machinery Company of Goderich. The dual pump„ is expected to be installed within the month but the work on the installation of the turbo fuel tank is not expected to get underway until the spring. The airport committee also passed a motion to make a recommendation to town council that they lease the land to the Goderich Development Corporation for the construction of a • I2 -unit tee hangar. The Goderich ..Development Corporation will supply the financing for the project. The committee will issue tenders on the tee hangar construction after they hav"e established a need for the hangar space and can arrange leasing terms with the Goderich Development Corporation. The Airport committee also learned from Ontario Hydro that it would cost $7,518 to bury a 450 foot section of line on Highway 21.
