Green and Parent Ford Mercury Sales - Mr. Jim Green and Mr. Peter Rarent who have' taken oven the Midget B's and by 'way of interest won their first,game 3-2 'against Listowel. They have been generous enough to complete the team with pants and , helmets and will now -be known as Green & Parent Ford. Bank as the new Toronto Dominion Bank have , purchased neW 80rvCOm8T ESTATES ATOM ALL-STARS The Suncoast Estates Atoms recorded two shutout victories last weekend, one in league play and one in an exhibition game. Saturday the Suns travelled to Port Elgin, where they defeated Port Elgin, 3-9, in WOAA league play. On Sunday, the • Suns blanked Rtlyth 4-0, here in an exp/n`uononnounte,. In Port Elgin-, the Suns made three first periodgoa{o stand up for the win. Captain Dave opened the scoring,assisted by Rick -young. Linemate Mark Crawford scored on a pass from Go|kow 15 seconds later to give the Suns. their second. goal. Paul Day knocked in D4ny\ &Y rebound for the Sun's final counter. Port Elgin pressed but were unable' to beat Jeff Denomme in the Sun's not. Against Blyth, the Suns got two goals from rightwinger Mark Crawford and onemach from David Gallow and Kent Feagan. GaUow had two assists. In a game played in Listowel last Thursday, November 13, the Lions Pee Wees managed to pick up thd, first point of the season as they tied Listowel 4-4., The highlight of the game was two goals by left-winger „Joey Morrissey as he picked up three points in the game, assisting on one of Larry Kelly's goals. Superb goaltending by Robert Cummings and Jim MacDonald kept the Lions in the game as they were out played by the,Listowel team and penalties hurt the team. Larry Kelly scored the other two goals. Fdday evening, the Goderich Lions won theit•first game of the seaion as they ,defeated Mount Forest by a score of 6-3. In the first period,Randy knocked in Joey Morrissey's pass to give Goderich a 1 -0 - lead at the 2:08 mark. Mount Forest tied the game at the 7:05 mark on a goal by left- winger Scott Cochrane. Before the period ended, Larry Kd\y'epmbinod' with Joey Morrissey and Robbie Kisch to make it 2-1. In the second period the Lions outscored Mount Forest 3-2.
