oderich police investigate nine mishaps, in town
The Goderich Police
Department was kept 'active
during the past week as they
were-4.called to investigate
pine accidents in town, four of
which resulted in major
damage,estimates. •
A three car collision at the
corner of Huron '• and
Britannia Road resulted in a
total damage estimate o $500

Sewitt, Londesboro; and
Ronald McCartney, 69
Colborne St., Goderich.

vehicles were,stopped behind
the traffic on Huron -Road
when the Brall vehicle

travelling west on Britannia
Road struck the Jewitt
vehicle which struck the
McCartney vehicle. There
were no injuries.
In a second accident on
November 7, a Goderich man
was sent to Alexandra Marine
and General Hospital for
-treatment of cuts and bruis'es
after the truck he was
operating struck a hydro
pole.

out of gear and struck the

was estimated at 8300 and
$100 to the pole.
A two -car collision on
November 8 resulted in a
total damage estimate of 8300
to vehicle driven by Barry
Ward, 308 Eldon Street,
Goderich and Brian Thom-
pson 89 Wolfe St. The
Thompson vehicle was
proceeding north on Cambria
Road when the Ward vehicle
turned out in front of it at:The
corner of Anglesea. There
were no injuries.
A -second two car collision
on November 8 resulted in a
total , damage estimate of
81.100 to vehicles driven by
Brenda Mohring 124 Uayley
St., Goderich and John
Fowler 144 Sunset Drive. The
Mohring vehicle had stoppecl-\, and $800 to

pedestrians to ,crossf. the road
when it was struck by the
Fowler vehicle.

Mr. Gravlev said the sale
means an additional 35 to 50
persons will be required
within the next few years.
The company produces a

including a spring toothlield
cultivator, at its 40,000 -
square -foot plant.
The spring tooth field
cultivator, an implement Mr.
Gravlev introduced to
Canada when he started the
company in 1960, is. used in
seed bed preparation for a
wide variety of crops.
The firm also imports
implements from Finland,
Denmark, Germany and the
United States.
VentUrgtek is capitalized at
