seminar primarily for people
interested in small business
will be held in Goderich at the
Candlelight Restµrant
- (Conference Rootn) on
November 12.

ed at St. George's
Canon G.G. Russell officiated October 4 in St. George's
Anglican Church, Goderich, for the candlelight service at
which David Martin Keegan of London took Carolyn
Monica Grahamas his wife. The double -ring ceremony -
was conducted amid yellow and rust mums.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.B.

raham, Goderi
*Keegan, Simc _.e, arethe-parents of the groom.
Joseph Herdman was organist. Soloist was Fred
Cousineau, Downsview, a friend of the groom who sang
Ave.JVlaria, The Lord's Prayer and Sunrise, Sunset.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her'father. She •
wore a sheer gown with chantilly lace „on the bodice,,
neckline and skirt, The -Victorian sleeves were of the
same' trim. The gown 'swept to a long semi -cathedral
train. A matching Juliette cap held in place her four -
tiered scalloped illusion veil. She carried.a presentation
bouquet of - long stemmed roses and orange baby's
breath. 1
Maid of honor for her sister was Taf Graham,' Sar-
nia., She wore a rust matte jersey gown fashioned with a
sleeveless bodice topped' by a long sleeved_ jacket
gathered in yoke style back and front. She carried a
presentation bouquet in, fall tones with gold, and rust
mums and dried wheat.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Sharon Graham, sister-in-law
of the bride; Meaford; Mrs. Lynn Turnbull, Guelph; Mrs.
Chris Turner, Goderich; and Mrs. Denise Rive, Toronto,
all friends of• the bride.'They were gowned identically to
the maid of honor.
Groom smanFwas Dr. Ron Hare, Meaford. Ushers were
Bob Gair, Simcoe; Chris Graham, brother of the bride,
Meaford; Ross Keegan,.brother of the groom, Simcoe;
and Jim Zinkar .n, Woodstock.
The wedding reception was at The White Carnation
where 'vases of bronze and gold mums centered the
tables.
The bride's mother chose an emerald green sleeveless
gown with shirred cummerbund, topped by a matching
cape, and corsage of cymbidium orchids.
The groom's mother selected a long misty blue gown,
with"corsage'of cymbidium orchids.'
Mr. and Mrs. Keegan are living in London.
Out of : 'town guests were present from Sarnia
Burlington, Kitchener, Galt, Chatham, Toronto,
Meaford, Guelph, Ottawa, Windsor, Simcoe, Hamilton,
Brampton, London,`Mount Hope, Peterborough, Tilbury,
Hanover, St. Catharine§ and Woodstock.
The groom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Creed'of
Hamilton and Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Keegan of Brampton,
attended the wedding.
Several showers were held in honor of the couple. A
dessert party was given by Mrs. Glenn Hays; a dinner
party was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Chris Graham and Mr.
and Mrs. Phil Turner at the latter's home; and a Mr. and
Mrs. shower was presented by Mr. and 'Mrs. Howard
Clark of Simcoe; a. wine and cheese party was -held in
Kitchener with Ms. Nbrma Hutton and Mrs. Lynn Tur-
nbull, former teaching staff associates of thelbride, as
hostesses; and a luncheon was given at The Little Inn,
Bayfield, by Mrs. Gordon McManus..
The wedding party was entertained at the home of'Mr.
and Mrs. John K. Sully following the rehearsal. .
Association, the seminar will
be one of several hundred
conducted by th'e Bank in
smaller cities and towns
across -Canada.
Some 25 to 35 people in=
terested- Mbusiness are
expected to attend the
seminartiwhich will consider
'operatin'g . projections and
,financial statements' of a
small business and the effects

The sixth meeting of the
Holmesville Yaking Yeasties
was held at the home of Mrs.
- Betties on October 27.
Eight girls answered the
roll call, the supper dish you
made using bread as a main
ingredient. •
The minutes were read by
•Ann Klomps. The members
' 'discussed their skit entitled
"Score".
Fancy breads from other
lands were discussed, Also
the girls filled in the sheet on
".`Do yousremember the basics
of bread?"
They talked about what isto
be exhibited for Achievement
Day.

The fifth meeting of Auburn
I, Crusty Critters, 4-H club
was opened by the president,
F47e Seers. After the usual
business, the roll call' was
answered by each girl
showing a loaf of sour dough
bread which they had made.
Plans for the exhibit on
Achievement Day were
discussed. Judging bread was
discussed along with other
dishes with bread such as
bread pudding and stuffing.
Each girl participated in
making -cheese puffs and
hamburg stacks. These were
all sampled at the meeting.
Word was received here of.
the death of a former rector
of St.-- Murk's.. Anglican.-.
Church of Rev. Percy H.
Streeter .who passed away' at
Beaverton at Lakeview
Manor in his 89th year. He is a
retired priest of the Diocese
of Huron. His wife, the former
Nora Sadlier Cowdry
predeceased 'him. He is
survived by one daughter,
Mrs. Earl (Jean) Windatt of.
Beaverton. Burial took place
from St. Paul's Anglican
church, Beaverton, • on
Monday, October 20 with
burial in Stonechurch
Cemetery, Beaverton.
The Auburn Recreation
Committee is planning a
Hallowe'en party for Auburn
and area children, 14 years
and under on Friday, October
31st, starting. at 7 o'clock in
the Auburn hall until 10 p.m.
Judging of the costumes will
take place at 8.p.m. Games,
prizes, and ' treats will be
followed .by a dance.. No
•U.N.I.C.F. boxes will be out.

that. village residents will
support this project and not
