United Church was decorated with baskets of pink gladioli and white shasta daisies with big white bows on the pews on September 26 at 4 o'clock p.m. for the double -ring ceremony of Anne -Marie Budny and Gregory Neil Smith with the Reverend Ralph King of- ficiating. Anne -Marie Budny is the daughter of Kazimierz Budny and the late Pamela Budny of Goderich, and Gregory Neil Smith is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith of Goderich. The bride given in marriage by her father Kazimierz Budny, wore a full-length white polyester satin gown with small train trimmed with two layers of designed ruffled lace sealed with daisy .trim. The gown with full skirt was- lathered -.at_ the.._midriff_..io ..foam..., an. above normal waistline, Thedowered round neckline was over an underbodice of white tergal sheer forming a stand up collar and collar ruffle, and two jay,er.s of designed ruffled lace. sealed with daisy trim hung all around the neckline. The long' puffy sleeves were gathered at the wrists to form self ruffles \,with daisy trirn around the - edges. The stand up collar and gathered waistline were also trimmed with daisy trir'n. The separate full-length cathedral veil -flowed from a Juliette cap of white designed lace and tiny pearls, She carried a bouquet of deep red and pink sweetheartroses with white baby's breath scattered throughout., The matron of honor, Anne Miller of Goderich and the Y bridesmaids, Sharon Nowack of•London, Carol Young of Auburn, Sue Brunk of Goderich and Sandy Prouse of Auburn, all wore full-length matching gowns of flocked chiffon' with the matron of honor and two bridesmaids 'dressed in pink and the other two bridesmaids dressed in blue with a wide ruffle at the bottom. The necklines were low and squared atthe front and thg back with double capped sleeves trimmed with daisy trim around the edge. Big sashes were worn just above the waistline and tied at theback with daisy trim around both sides of the sashes. They each wore a floppy white lace hat with a single daisy at the back. The matron of honor and the two bridesmaids in pink carried baskets of white shasta daisies,' miniature pink carnations and pink baby's breath and the two 'bridesmaids in blue .carried baskets of white shasta daisies, miniature blue carnations and . blue baby's breath, Melissa Jean Miller of Kitchener was the flower girl and her brother, Christopher John .Miller was the ringbearer. The flower girl wore a full-length backless halter dress of blue flocked chiffon with daisy trim around the hemline. Around her shoulders she wore a cape of the same material trimmed with daisy trim around the edge and tied at the neck with a blue ribbon,. Another blue ribbon was tied around her waistline which fell down the front of her dress. In her hair was a. wreath """"-'of tinted blue shasta daisies, miniature pink carnations and pink baby's breath and she carried a basket of dried flowers. The groomsman was Robert Smith of London, the groom's brother, and the ushers were John Miller of Kitchener, Bob LaMarsh of Goderich', Larry Thurlow of Goderich and Dan DeMers of Auburn. The bride's stepmother'wore a fu"1l'1ength gown of light green jersey knit with a high neckline and a corsage of yellow roses, and the groom's mother wore a full-length gown of sea green chiffon with pearl encrusted empire waistline and a corsage of orange tea roses.
