here Thursday, the GDCI
Vikings defeated Exeter
South Huron Panthers, 22-6.
The win was the Viking's
fifth straight andgave them
°sole possession of first place
in the standings.. The two
teams entered the game with

The victory was not as one-
sided as the score might
indicate.
The Vikings held a slim 3-0
edge at half time on three
singles • kicked by Jim
VanOsch, in the second
quarter.
The Panthers took the lead
yin the third quarter when
quarterback Perry Pooley
scored a touchdown ow a
three yard keeper play set up
by a Viking fumble on their
own 12 yard line.

November on Wednesday,
November 5 at 8 p.m. in.
McKay Hall. It will be a
business meeting followed by
cards and lunch.
The next meeting is
scheduled for November 19 at

program of cards and lunch.
Every Tuesday afternoon
at 2 p.m. in MacKay Hall,
senior citizens are invited to
play cards, On Friday af-
ternoons from 2 to 4 p.m.,
there is carpet bowling at
Maclay Hall.
