Club hung their work for .an
array of textures, and tones.
This year's edition of the
Christmas Country Fair
boasted something for
everybody - from petit point
jewellery to terrariums, toys
to pottery.
"I was encouraged to see so
many new exhibitors from
Colborne Township," said
Mrs. Evelyn Hardy, convener
of the Fair.
Mrs. Hardy said it was
estimated that about 3,000
people attended the Fair, in
the two' d

Colborne township's 10th
annual Christmas Country
Fair has moved from its
quaint birthplace in the..:
township hall at Carlow - but
the. spirit of warmth and
friendship has moved with it
to Saltford Valley Hall. .
There were s.ome new,faces
at the Christmas "Country
Fai:, but many of the
exhibitors were familiar to
the visitors who arrived from
all over Western Ontario and
other parts of the country.
Mrs. Florence Aberhart of
Goderich who takes her at-
tractive hand-knit wear and
oil paintings to the Fair, loves
to visit with the friends she
has mdde through the years
at the event. The Christma,s
Country Fair is the one outlet
for Mrs. Aberhart's . crafts
during the year and she looks
forward t� it as a time when
she will meet customers over
and over again.
