major item of the morning
businest was the introduction
of newmembers of Presbytery.
Ten new -ministers were in-
ducted or installed this sum-

These are: Rev. Edward
Baker, installed at Walton;
Rev. Wilena BroWn, installed at
Bluevale; ,Rev. Michael
Boulger, inducted. at, Monkton;
Rev. Ross Cumming, inducted
at Centennial Stratford; Rev.

Dungannon -Nile; Rev. Maurice
Francis, inducted at

Pierce, inducted at Crediton;

MacDonald installed at For-
dwich., Mr. R. McMullen,

by Presbytery to Milbank.
In welcomi•• the new
ministers, chair "' '-IIRe'r. Bert
Daynard, Staffa. pointed ,out
that Huron -Perth is'one of the
largest Presbyteries in the
United Church and the most
totally rural of London Con-,
ference.
New lay delegates were then
introduced by their ministers,
who told Presbytery a bit about
them. They were an impressive
group of eleven.
Obituaries were read for
Rev. Garnet Potter of Auburn
who passed away on June 3 at
Auburn and Rev. J. Wilfred
Hird, who passed away on July
28. Presbytery also reiretted
the death of Stephen Dundas,
Presbytery delegate , from
Crediton,
BUNNY HOP
Rev. Barry Robinson of
Thames' Road-Elimvi-lle charge
led a contemporary worship
service which included dancing
in the church. His theme was
the importance of Christians
being playful " as well as
prayiful.
New happy Christian' songs
were sung. As the Presbytery
formed a line behind him he led
the "bunny hop" dov3n the aisle
toward lunch, to the tune of
"Lord of the Dance."
After lunch Alun Hughes of
the United Church Publishing
House in Toronto, spoke of the
work of handling the thousands
of items they 'now carry. The
Don Mills location has 13,000
square feet of space.
He' stated that they try to
process all orders within 48
hours but' delays in mail,
some -times cause frustration.
Mr. Hughes, a former banker,,
served the Church in Kenya
teaching Church Treasurers
their jobs, before coming to his
present post of general
manager of the House last
year. '
Rev. Cecil Brenn, who is
serving as a replacement for
the convalescing Ev. Smith of
the London Conference office,

music and a. superb address by

John Roberts, led the singing
and sang two anthems. The
committee in charge, under the

asked to circulate a list of sueh
people to the congregations, so
anyone knowing such a person
was asked to pass _the name
