The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of
-white swiss dot and lace, and carried a nosegay of white
carnations, daisies and baby's breath: Miss Jennifer Gillin,
the bride's sister and maid of honor, and the bridesmaids,-
. Misses Irene Thompson, London, Martha Rice, Brantford,
and the groom's sister, Mrs. Philip van Diepen;. London. all
were gowned in blifil swiss , clot, and carried nosegays 'of
white daisies and Carnations with blue forget -me -riots., '- -

back to the Methodist mission
from Goderich which was
formed in 1833. I n41855 the work,
was divided andAhe Wawanosh
mission was formed' with 18
preaching places established,

In 1856 the first services were
held at Mr. Craig's. In 1860 the
log church, (which they called
Craig's church,) was built at
Donnybrook. In T880 the second
Church was builtt '17on-
ny�brook for the price $1,000.
In. 1881 the name 'Craig's
church" was, changed to
Donnybrook, with A burn and
Westfield joining the charge.
The church was remodelled in
1909 with a basement and choir
loft added. ..,U
Union came in 1925 from
Methodist to United. Westfield
left .the Auburn and Don-
nybrook in 1968.
Mrs. R. Hanna. ..led the
business part of "rri'eeting. Mr.
Fry showed slides on their trip
tothe, Agawa, Canyon. These
were enjoyedby all,
Mrs, J. Armstrong read a
poem and Mrs. Wm, Hardy
closed the meeting with a
prayer.
A social time was enjoyed,
with Mrs, J, Leddy. and Mrs, S.
Chamney assisting the hostess
