Country Club. The weather was
wonderful and all the guys and
• gals came out in full force. -
We had repeat champions

hopes for another undefeated

they were dealt an upset 14 1
defeat the Central Huron
Redmen.

The GDCI . junior Vikings
opened defence of their Huron -
Perth Conference
Chafri-
pion.ship with a convincing 24-0
victory over Central Hurpn in
Clinton last Thursday.
Tom O'Keefe led the Vikings
with three touchdowns on two
runs of 40 yards'and another on
a 10 -yard sweep.
Quarterback ' Dave
MacKenzie scored the other
Viking touchdown on a three
yard keeper play.
Tim: McLean blocked one
punt and Jon Barz intercepted
one pass in what was an out
standing team effort for the
