Lakeport'Steel rallied for 11
runs in three runs to route

Thursday in the final contest of
the Goderich Industrial Softball
League.schedule.
The Steelers overcame a 1-0
deficit with four runs ' in the
fourth inning on successive
singles by Ed 'Jones, Frank
Hagan and Ray Nicklas and a
solo home run by Ron Miller.
They added three more in the
fifth on only one,hit and
rounded .out their scring with
four runs in the sixth inning as
the bottom half, of the batting
order again produced' the key
hits.
The Transporters replied
.with .three runs in the sixth
inning and' rallied two more
in the ' final' frame. before
Lakeport snuffed out the spark.
Nicklas went the distance on
the mound for Lakeport and
generated the offence with.
three hits in four trips to the
plate and scored three runs.
Miller • Wane Fisher, Buck
Million, Jones and Hagan
chipped in with two hits apiece.
Bruce Bowman and Bruce
Fisher led the Transport
