Moffatt of Guelph, and the toe - tapping strains of the Stratford Festival City Senior Citizens Rtythm Band. Tomorrow, an historical plaque marking the founding of the town willbe unveiled on the lawn ron of Wesley -Willis Church at 2 l The , plaque, which is erected by the Ontario Heritage Foundation, will be unveiled by Jack Gibbings of Stratford; a great-grandson of Jonas Gibbings one of the first set- tlers to come to Clinton. Then in the evening, beginning at 9:30 you can catch the ball. inside the Arena - the • 'Down Memory Lane" Costume Ball that is. Dress up 'in the costume of your favourite era and come` out for ballroom dancing to the. Chris'% Black Orchestra. LaSt, Monday night, 510 'people attended the bingo games at the Clinton Arena and raised $1;232 for the repair of the town's swimming pool. The big *Winners of the evening were Rose McAdams ok Clinton and Alma Bissett of Ooderich who eadh took home half of the$1000 jackpot.
