-I will always 'remember that

D.eBruyn welcomed the largest
class to register at . this new.
school. Our enormous group
`had, t'o tafce''the staff -room for
classes because. the new
classroom. and the gymnasium
'Were not yet completed. Boy!. It
sure was crowded;
We've come a long way since
then. With Christmas concerts;
the operettas, the' Garvey
speaking " 'competitions, • the
school ,bus • trips, the FA nch,
classes'and the 3R's as well as
the many field, day and gym-

School. This. &ening, we "leave -
behind our childhood ideas aria'
values,__an.d _acquire_ more

;arid -the larger responsibilities
attributed to highschoolers.
Of :course, there . are , some
drawbacks. We'll be classified
.as the "Little Grade Winer -s"
not the Big Grade Eights .
" '*
Right now,..ost of uS' think
that school is .a, drag and is a
waste of time and money, • but
the .,tryth " is that, a 'good
education, is our 'most prized
possession and'will staywith us

iC It is, also, the key to'
Willing
a, goal which, everyone strives,
for. Our years' at Kiri;gsbr,idge
have played a, very important
part in the development 'of sur
personality and our nioi'ajs`.
Wherever we -go, we'll show
what -our "school truly
represents by our manner of
living in”' this world of
• tomorrow'.
On behalf of ” all the
