and Tainmy of Belfast for two
monthi.
Miss Valerie Park, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Park, has
secured employment at the
Nursing Home in Lucknow.
Sympathy is extended to
family and friends of Mr. Robt.
Smyth who passed away on
June 10. He had been a reSident
of Huronview since last fall.
Grade Three and Grade Two
from Brookside School with
teachers : Mrs. . Dorothy
Chisholm ' and Mrs. Janet
Blanchette and several parents
went to Storybook Gardens in
London on Friday,
Grade Seven with Mr. Chas.
Liddle also took a field trip to
Toronto on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fowler
and family of Parkhill visited
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas.
Fowler on Saturday. Mr. Chas.
Fowler received word from St.
Catharines that his brother-in-
law, Mr. James Figgins had
passed away.

spending a few days with her
aunt, Mrs. Mary Bere and

field Presbyterian church were
held Sunday when Rev. J.C.
Henderson of Harriston was
guest minister and Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Madge sang two
duets.

recently.

Ripley Craft Festival is
ready to set record in displays
and entertainment. Thef Huron
and Ripley Central School will
be the setting and there will be
numerous new crafters taking
part along with the several who
have been selling their crafts in
thearea for several years.
It is with pleapure that -
several of these crafters are
also preparing to display and
sell their crafts at Town and
Country Day, in Kincardine on
July 12 when an afghan com-
petition is being staged and
where someone Will win a
beautifallace afghan. Several •
will win prizes on their afghans
