CDrdered Long Before
Wedding Ceremony
Getting married is one 'thing, but announcing
it to friends and relatives is quite another.
Depending upon whether a formal wedding is
planned, invitations to 'the wedding must be
carefully chosen.
Whether a cotrpl•e.chooses to have'a very small
and intimate wedding with say 20, guests, or
.a Targe .wedding. with 250 guests, invitations
must be sent out.

OF. COURSE .the„"..rnost,..persnnaL:and •also_.the
most time-consuming in•vitatio,ns'are the hand-
written ones. If a bride and/or her sisters and
attendants have legible and attractive, hand-
writin , they may choose to write them them-
esely"
The e sy way out is to hire a writing service.
Often these services will have available the
services of a person who is well versed in many
scrip faces and can tailor an invitation to a
couple's desires, anywhere from an old Ger-
man hand to ultra -modern handl-ettered print-
ing.
Generally, couple's choose to• have invitations
machine printed. They can either be engraved,
the most expensive method, or printed in a way
' so that they look as,, though they have been
engrave -printed.

invitations to the reception read "the pleasure\\

All of the proper ways of wording invitations
and reply cards, . etc. can be discussed with
any knowledgable stationery consultant.
The single. most important item on any invi-
tation is the date. So set it first and go on from
there.
