Pro Life group will be holding a
"Walk for Life" this Saturday -
morning starting at 8a.m. at
Victoria Street United Church. •
The walkers' will walk, a five
mile course to the Osborn farm
and five. mi les return.
The members of the Knights
of Columbus will be responsible
for check points andW patrol
cars. The odertch Police'
Department will provide an
escof't to the town limits and -the
Ontario Provincial. Police will
escort the walkers the rest of
the route.
Safety is being stressed for
the walk and all walkers are
asked to use the shoulder of the
road facing oncoming traffic.
Ladies of the U.C.W. will serve
lunch at Victoria Street United
Church arid members of the
Christian 'Reformed Church
will serve the lunch at the
Osborn far`Vh. - Walkers who are
unable to complete the rou
will be driven to the starting
point by a patrol car. '

new truck for the Works and
Engineering department
provided the truck meets the
specifications sept out by the
department.
Three tenders were received
and 1VIcGee's was the lowest of
the three. The truck ordered is
a chassis type and the, works

will outfit it with the equipment
they have on another truck.
McGee's price was $8,394.75,
Hayter's was $8,951.25 and
