The Goderich entry in the
WOAA Midget Ladies softball
league had a field day at. the
plate in their last. two games.
The women blasted Rostock,31-
. 13 on Tuesday and kept up their
streak FridaY knocking off St.
Marys -144.,
In Tuesday's game cleanup,
hitter Diana Glousher proved
her worth catching four -hits for
six trips to the plate. She
collected six RBI's with a
grand slammer and a bases
loaded triple. - •
Judy.Cruickshank couldn't be
stopped batting .1:000 in five
trips to the plate scoring seven
runs herself. Lori Keller scored
five runs, catching three hits in
four tries.:
In Friday's game • the

Goderich girls scattered 14
runs across seven innings going
scoreless in the second. They
' opened a two ,run lead in the
first inning on singles by Diana
Glousher, Judy Cruikshank,
Kris Maillet and Brenda
Lougheed. Glousher added one
in the third scoring after she
belted a double.
Judy Langridge singled in the
fourth to score Judy
Cruikshank and Lori Keller
tripled in the fifth to drive. in
Brenda LOugheed and Lode
Cruikshank arid then scored
herself.
Lori Keller notched her third
triple of the game in the sixth,
driving .in : three runs after
Dawn Oke had scored on Kris

Walter Bell slammed a two
run homer iri the top nrs the
seventh inning with one out to
foil DRMCo pitcher Don
McWhinney's bid fOr a no hitter
last Thursday. McWhinney was
riding a six run lead in the final
stanza when a, wild ,pitch sent
Keith Lapp to first. The next
batter was retired before Bell
spoiled the effort for the DR-
MCohurler. •..,
DRMCo scored"their six runs
On eight hits. Wayne Doak '
singled in the second, was
moved around on ,,Wayne
McLean's single and came in
on Bill GaIlow's double. Don
McWhinney doubled in , the
third and was scored by Jim
MacWhinney with a double. In

• singled, Don McWhinney, drew
a walk, George Sutton got on on
•an error and John Orr stepped
into a double that brought them

difference in the game.
Spwerby hit three for four, his
third smash a home run for the
Clippers' only run.

Three errors by Gbrd's in the
sixth inning brought Brindley
within two runs of tieing their
game Monday night. Ahead by
Jive runs Gord's gave- up three
runs to Brindley on just one
single.
Gord's opened the scoring in
the first inning when Phil
Petrie drew a walk arid Brian
Rumig got to first on a throwing
error. • Stan Doherty stepped
into a double and brought the
