The reunions have been held for 143 years with the Family Picnic the last 50 years. . Amos Andrew introduced the older people, - Roy Rundell of RR 2, Goderich in his 94th year, Tom Salkeld of Lueknow, Irvine Hunter of Goderich and Will Hume of Milton, all 90 plus. Anne Russell graduates at Trent U., Anne Elizabeth Russell, daughter Of Canon and Mrs, Garwood.. Russell', Goderich, was among 500 who' received undergraduate degrees awarded Friday, June 6 at the spring ,convocation of Trent University, Anne received her Bachelor of Arts. Honorary degrees were conferred upon W.H. Cranston, Midland, former publisher and past chairman of the Ontario Economic , Council: -Dr. J, Harry Ebbs, internationally noted pediatrician at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto; Symons, of Peter•bor•ough, founding president of Treht and chair- ., , man of the Ontario. The only person who' listens to both sides of an argument is the woman in the apartment next door. This is the sixth year for the Flower Festival to be held in the Courthouse. Everyone really enjoys this great work of art. *The theme this year is " Back to the Good Old Days". There will be s a tour of Historical Homes which will be of great interest to the many new -comers in•this area and the many tourist visitors. These tours - the first one at 7 p.m. of July 18, the second at 1:30 p.m. the following day and the third on Saturday ,the nineteenth at 3:30 p.m. all start from the Huron Historic Jail. At 9 p.m. of Friday, July 18, the Pendulum Players .Theatre Group will present, in the Jail courtyard, "The Great Storm". This fine play has been seen in 'Goderich this Spring and `received 'a great ovation, so if you missed it, this will be your chance to see it. « Tours are going on.thru' the Jail each day as well as thru our Museum on North Street.
