The Goderich branch will
reopen May 12 after
renovations to large reading
room and hallway. These
improvements have brightened
the library "and., we thank our
library borrowers for their
patience. Because there will be
a great number of books due
the week of May 12, no library
fines will be charged this week
at Goderich branch.
If . you have some long
overdue books, why not return
them on this "no fines week".
For those people who want to
see the improvements, drop in
for a cup of coffee anytime on
May 16.

Bill Hanly (left)' has been named Huron County Administrator and Clerk -Treasurer following
the death of John .Greer Berry last month.Mr. Hanly was formerly deputy clerk: -treasurer for
the county. Mr. Hanly said at the last`rneeting of Huron County Council that prior to his death,
Mr.. Berry had made some recommendations concerning possible changes in the clerk -
treasurer's office. Mr. Haply and councfl felt his was the opportune time to study the
