Producers' Marketing Board
announced last week there will
be a few days delay in making
an interim payment to

Mr. K. A,- Standing, general
manager of the marketing
board, said it was the board's
intent to have the payment
made to producers y the end of
March.
However, he said problems
encountered in preparing the

but an all-out effort is being
made to correct the situation
and the cheques should be
ready in a few days.
The interim payment will be
$1 per bushel and'itt,applies to
wheat sold to producers from
July 1974 to the end of February
1975. It is being made from
sales made by the .board and it
does not include any federal
government two price , con-
sumer subsidy money.

payment being made is in
addition to the basic initial
price of $2.01 per bushel
