MacLennon, a grade four student at Victoria Public School; •

Councillor Elsa Haydon tried ,to Ceremoniously tie the
political*tree to its support stake on Arbor Day but couldn't
quite 'get the habg of it. She was -aided by parks crew
member Susan drunk and parks foreman Peter Spain.

Although it was acool day lunch was a welcome part of the schedule. The Legion Ladies served
lunch to all the children in Harbor .Park and apples were undoubtedly a big favorite. (staff

These youngsters take a welcome break after a long morning of
cleanup duty as part of the first annual Arbor• Day in Goderich
last Friday. The bags of leaves raked up by the grade schoolers
