The thank -offering meeting of the Presbyterian Church had to be cancelled due to weather and the ladies were advised of the new date. -The grade 8 graduates have decided they ,would like a small plaque instead of a peWor pin as a memento of their years at St. Joseph's School. Roll call .was answered by 18 members who -paid their dues. President Carol Penhale presided. Secretary -treasurer - Alice Porten read the minutes of the last meeting. She read the other orrespondence, including a letter thanking the ladies for participating in canvassing for the Ontario Heart Foundation. It was moved by Mary Anne Yates. and seconded by Millie Dempsey to hold a bake•sale at The Homestead on Saturday, May 16. •The minutes of the last an- nual meeting were read.
