GODERICH, keep it CLEAN
- and GREEN - These are the
words you are going to see on
little white tags everywhere
you go. Wear them in good
health!
We are fortunate to .be high
and dry and able to talk about
cleaning"''up the yard of little
bits and pieces instead of
having to remove truckloads of
rubble as many, unfortunate
folk are „ now doing.
Arbor Day Picnic - Harbour
Park April 25 Bring. your lunch,
noon.
Daffodils and tulips are
already breaking out and " the
snowdrops are just everywhere
- almost - I just don't have a
single snowdrop!
But I remtuber the days
when I would peak around
snowdrifts aria find them and
• their colorful friends, the
Crocus, braving the cold. It
,surely brightened my little
world - and I think these early
flowers do this to all of us - don't
you agree?
A few day's ago I swished onto.

you just have to ask !
To any of you who have artist
or craftspeople friends who

ready to burst along both sides
of the street and if this sunshine
continues for a few days we can"
once again enjoy the carpet of
color.
One, pretty spot you can
'always enjoy is on St. Vincent
St. at North Street, Mary's
Garden. It begins early with a
riot of tidy color and continues
to be beautiful right thru' the
summer. Go and see it:
I do know that this year there
will be a great many beautiful
gardens. So, You joggers,
walkers .and , cyclists take
notice, you may be missing
them - by taking the same route
each day.
Very quietly ,• plans,are'•being
formulated for a great week of
the Arts and Crafts this sum-
mer. , This year will see, at
least, two continuous weeks of
activity in Courthouse Park.
The week of 3 my 14 to 19 will
be the., Festival of the Arts
Week, the following week we
will have Carnival Week. There
are a great many activities
being planned for other weeks,
but 'some of you Are taking a
long time to make a decision.
If you would let the
Celebration '75 Committee
know of your plans, - even tho
they are not completed - or just
set a tentativt5 date - i gives
them time to check the date to
make sure two or more affairs
are not happening at the sametime.
