The May meeting will be held
a week early on the 12th and
Mary Henderson's group will
be in charge.
"The executive presented the
Worship service in a very in-
formative and interesting
manner. It was a chapter from
the study book entitled
Brotherhood , and it took the
form of a "To Tell the Truth"
program.
With Mary Wray as
Moderator, the panelists were,
Mary Henderson, Ruth Skeoch,
Emily Crew, Lucille Hen-
derson, Agnes Cutt and Winnie
Walter.
basiceach described the
basic beliefs of six different
religions and the audience was
asked to guess the identity of
each.
Through this. exercise it was
learned all religions have
common aims and beliefs and
to have true brotherhood,
people mustaccentand respect
the traditions and customs of
other faiths regardless of race
or country. This, can be seen in
the new Church of India where
severai faiths are' working
together,
Lee McCallum, citizenship
secretary of the I.O.D.E.,
described in detail a recent
citizenship court & where
members had received- their
papers and the reception which
followed.
This was an occasion where
brotherhood could be ,really
seen and felt and she urged
everyone to extend this feeling
to newcomers.
The meeting closed with
lunch and a social.. hour.
