trailer and its contents. at

MacDonald.
The Goderich Fire Depart-
ment was called to the blaze
shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday
morning after the alarm was
turned in by one of the neigh-
bours,
The MacDonalds were at-
tending a dan. ce ;at the time of
the blaze and returned home
after 2 p.m. to. find the trailer
-gutted. The cause was believed
to be ,an overheated electric
blanket.
Damage to the trailer and its
contents was estimated, at over
$10,000. The owners were only
partially covered by insurance.
Mr. and Mrs. MacDonald are
living at the home ok her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Brindley of Goderich.
Church approved
Council approved con-
struction of a new Lutheran
'church, ' Berea -by -the -Water,
after the planning board in-
formed them that the zoning
designation necessary for its
construction had been ap-
proved.
Councillor Gower said the -
property was scheduled for
development and ; would be
zoned R2 to permit the con-
struction.
The site of the church is the
northwest corner of Gibbons
and Suncoast and entails four
lots purchased by the
congregation.
