Save your odds and ends for them will you - they will pick up All Star Tournament Goderich Peewee "B" made a strong showing The Goderich Peewee B All Star team participated in the Walkerton peewee tournament recently and although they did not win a championship they rpade a strong showing. The •Goderich squad knocked off two formidable opponents before they bowed out of tournament play. In the first game Goderich thumped Planning- a Mitchell 6-3 and then ham- mered Owen Sound 7-0. The B's were eliminated from further tournament competition dropping a close 2-1 decision to Listowel in their third contest. 1S,T GAME Goderich SiftaSalt 6 Mitchell 3 deked the goaltender and Goderich end from the opening faceoff. Gwen Sound kept Goderich off stride until the five minute *mark when Robt. MacDonald scored from Doherty. Goderich was in control from then on and Robt. LISTOWEL 2 GODERICH 1 Listowel received a penalty. Goderich pulled the goaltender and, with six' attackers buzzed around the Listowel net but were unable to get the puck by, goaltender Allan FaHis. Harold Satori and Robt, Cummings played well in goal for Goderich with Satori being especially sharp on a two man breakaway with Goderich a goal behind. The entire Goderich team played well' throughout the tourname,nt.., Robt. Jeffrey, Robt: MacDonald, and Ted Doherty deserve special mention for their two way play while Steve Walters, Allan Baker, Steve Sager,. all three goaltenders and. ' the defence, played strong games.
