recently against objecting too
strongly to th,e proposed
Ontario Farm Income
Protection Act. ,
Speaking at the "Meet -the=
Members" night sponsored by
the Federation, he agreed with
the Federation's recom-
mendation -on the Act but noted
what he yiews should be one
exception —a clause to restrict
the Act's benefits to Federation
members only.
The clause recommends that
only dues paying members of
the Federation would benefit
from the Ontario Federation's
recognized plan,. The clause,
could cause "controversy"
between farm` Organizations,
Such a controversy could
overshadow the principle of the
plan, Mr. Gaunt said.
.The regulation could -be
'viewed as a step to consolidate
