Goderich man dies in tragic -ticcident A well-knownGoderich citizen, 77 year-old Charles Barker, 125 Anglesea Street, was pronounced dead on arrival at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Monday. evening after an accident at the' home of , his nephew, Ron Barker, 29 Britannia Road East. Charles Barker was assisting his nephew and Arnold Fisher to trim a tree. Mr. Fisher and Ron'Barker were pulling on a rope to bring down a limb that Charles Barker had just sawed through from his position on a ladder. According to police, the bough slipped lackward and pinned Charles Barker against one Of the upright limbs of the solftermwsolersoftooftroolummissigirowk.~.4 tree, about 9-10 feet above the ground. Dr. Frank Mills, coronerp, expects there will be an inquest into the accident. Constable George Lonsbary of the Goderich Police Force investigated. Mr. Barker is survived by his wife, the former Edith Jenkins; five brothers, Fred, •Percy and Ernest, Goderich; Albert of Londofi, and William of Stratford; as well as several nieces and nephews.
