BANTAM ALL-STARS
In two exhibition games
played in, Goderich on the
weekend, the Falcons lost 6-3 to
Mitchell and tied four all with
"Seaforth.

THE TWINS
In the first game of the round
robin series in the W.O.A.A"'
playoffs, the Goderich Twins
travelled to Port 'Elgin on
Wednesday, Marsh 5 with only'
10 players and came through
with a five all tie.
Port Elgin opened the scoring
for the only goal in the first
period. Roy Roedger.picked up
and fired it past John Page, this

HOCKEY NOTES
Inthe final game of the Atom
Tournament, which was held in
Bayfield, Bayfield won the'
game in overtime 8-7 against
Goderich Candlelight Inn.
Bayfield went ahead 3-0 in the
first. period on two goals by
Rick Johnston and 1 by Jeff
Merner.
In . the second period,
Goderich got on.the score sheet
as Greg Marshall .scored
unassisted and then Tom Profit,
scored two goals and at the end
of the second period, the score
was Bayfield 4, Goderich 3.
Bayfield made it 5-3 on a goal
by ' Brian . V.anaaken, then
Goderich came on strong as
Tom Profit scored two more
goals to tie the game 5-5.
Bayfield went ahead on a
goal by Rob Chapman 30

the game again and before the
period ended, Rick Johnston
picked up his fourth goal of the

his fifth and sixth goals of the

The Goderich Figure Skating
Club and the Goderich Minor
Hockey Association supporters'
club are joiningiands in a fund
raising project to be held on
March 29. The two clubs are
holding a Skatathon from nine
in the morningto five h the
° afternoon.

Entrants in the • day long
skate should pick up their entry

school to get their sponsorship

Victoria and Grey. Trust no
later than April 14 and prizes
for the top money earners will
be given out at that time.
Trophy day for the Wed"- h
nesday ' skaters will be on
March 26. The club extends an
invitation to anyone wishing to
watch the tiny twirlers compete
at five o'clock at the Goderich
arena. -
