Both tems played good defensive hockey and Goderich wound up ahead 5-4. It was a tight squeeze as The Falcons scored the (first goal. Then Port Elgin ,tied it up, Goderich scored the second goal, then Port Elgin' tied it up again, With only one minute remaining in the game, and a score of 4-4 it looked like a tie garde, but Steve Arbour picked up a loose puck arid scored the winning goal with only 50 setonds left to play. With a total of four goals, Steve Arbour was the most outstanding player in the game. Paul Dougherty received credit for the other Falcon goal,. In their next game against Port Elgin played in Goderich on Saturday night, the Falcons once again b6'at the Port Elgin club by„a score of 8-6. For- Junately Randy Carroll and Pacrl Schaefer were handy. and agreed to: help out. They seemed to keep the game under control and in my opinion„did a good job. . It is too bad we couldn't have a little more co-operation from the Goderich Referees Association, or whom ever is in charge.
