OF PUBLIC .HEARING
•
WHEREAS. the Police Act, R.S.O', 1970 Chapter 351
and amendments thereto provides that the Board of
Police Commissioners of.a municipality is -responsible
for the policing and maintenance of law and order in
such municipality; and
WHEREAS the Board bf Police -Commissioners of
the Town of Goderich is concerned at the incidents of
vandalism, rowdyism and other unlawful acts within
the said town, and proposes to initiate action to curb
the same; and
WHEREAS the said --;Board in -the public interest has
decided to seek suggestions from the citizens of
Goderich which may assist it in effecting its purpose.
NOW THEREFORE TAKE NOTICE that interested
citizens and organizations within the Town of Goderich
are invited to present submissions to the Board which
may assist it in effecting its purpose at a public hearing
to ben held., on Wednesday, March 19th, 1975, coo-
meneing at 2 p.m, in the main (court room, Court
House, Goderich, Ontario. Those presenting briefs are
