Culture and recreation minister Robert Welch said the games will be held over the Labour Day weekend using facilities of city recreation department, The University of Western Ontario and the London board of education. Children in the Board's Perth schools who have speech problems can be referred to the Perth County Speech Clinic in Stratford. • This Clinic is operated by •the London Crippled Children's Centre and serves only Perth children. The therapist will conduct the clinic at a central location in Huron and parents will drive their children there. 0 Mr. Tokar said he hoped to ,have more concrete , proposals on an ongoing speech. correc- tion program that could serve the children in the Board's schools in,the Spring. * Children ' with speech problems were identified as a result of a diagnostic survey conducted• in the Board's Huron schools by Dr. Seppo Tuomi of the University of We`Stern Ontario.
