The announcements were made this week by R,F.Bryant, hospital administrator... , • Mrs. E.G. Prosser Mrs. E.G: Prosser, registered nurse, has been re-appo.inted director of nursing at Goderich Psychiatric (Hospital. ef- fective January 14, 1975. •She had 'previously held this position 'froth 1963 to 1966. She replaces Mrs. Kreps who .recent19 retired. From 1966 to her present apporirtent Mrs . rosser ha been irector of nursingat Kingston PsyChiatric Hospital. Previously she had been director of nursing at, Godcrich Psychiatric Hospital from 1965 to 1966, and a Supervisor of Nurses at Wingham' District Hospital from 1961 to 1963. , Born and educated in Saskatchewan, lylfs. Prosser r,e.cgived a postgraduate certificate in' psychiatric nursing from Alberta and a diploma in administration of hospit'al nursing service from the University of, Saskatchewan, College of Medictne. Mrs. Prosser trained as a nurse at Cily Hospitat, Saska and worked in Al, a and SaskatcheWan before moving to a position in -Ontario in 1961. Mrs, Frances E. Emerson has been appointed super- visor of clinical records services at Goderich - Psychiatric Hospital ef- fective January 6th, 1975. .Born in Ripley, Mrs. Emerson graduated' from Renfrew ,Collegiate and received a Registered Record Librarian diploma from D'Youville School for Medic,al, Record Library in 1961. Prior to her new position, she,, was director, central records and library services, Southwestern Regional Centre. at Blenheim, a 1,000 bed facility for mentally handicapped children. Previously, she was ehief, medical record department, Public General Hospital, Chatham, and chief, medical record. department, Renfrew Victoria Hospital, -p- FE,Emerson been a participant as well as an organizer of various volunteer services in. both military .and civilian ' com- munities from coast to coast in Canada, while her husband was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
