Mr; LaLonde, said that
$68,200,000 .of the supplemen-
tary 'vamu•nt appro.i .ed • for
welfare -,activities will enable
his department to enter into
formal cost-sharing agreements,
with provinces which have. 'in -
a traduced universally available
nursing- home care programs.
Provinces eligible are On-
tario, Manitoba and Alberta.
The .agreements will provide
for federal payments to replace
• Catfada Assistance Plan
revenues lost 'because the
programs are now universal;
rather' thanavailable only on
the bads of a test of need.
